Introduction of Departments

  Guangzhou center for disease control and prevention has twenty-six sections. Those sections are categorized into three groups: administrative departments, professional departments and laboratory departments.

  The Administrative Departments include with Executive Offices, Office of Communist Party Branches, Section of Human Resource and Security, Section of Quality Control, Section of Science Education and Information Management, Section of Planning and Finance, Section of General Affairs.

  The Professional Departments comprise with Section of Infectious Disease Control and Prevention, Section of Non-Communicable and Chronic Disease Control and Prevention, Section of AIDS control and Prevention, Section of Sterilization and Pest Control, Section of Parasitic and Endemic Disease Control and Prevention, Section of Planning Immunization, Clinic of Preventive Medicine, Section of Occupational Examination, Section of School Hygiene, Section of Food Hygiene Surveillance, Section of Environmental Hygiene Surveillance, Section of Engineering Hygiene Surveillance, Section of Radiation Hygiene Surveillance.

  The Laboratory Departments consist of Laboratory of Physical, Chemical and Instrumental Analysis, Laboratory of Microbiology, Laboratory of Hygienic Toxicology, Laboratory of Virology and Immunology, Laboratory of Biochemistry, Section of Material Supply.
